Seasons

The Maldives doesn’t really have any distinct seasons, with temperatures ranging between 27°C to 30 °C year-round.

The rainy season is from June to October, with short sharp showers rather than day-long drizzle.

Best time to go

The Maldives really is a year-round destination with tropical warm temperatures throughout the year. December to April is the peak, dry season and the monsoon rains from June to October. 

If you are diving, the best time to travel would be between November and April, and for surfing between March and May, September and November.
