November to February are the recommended months to visit Myanmar, missing the monsoon season and the worst of the heat.
Day 1: UK Departure
Overnight flight to Bangkok.
Day 2: La Residence D'Angkor, Siem Reap (BB)
Fly to Siem Reap and be transferred to La Residence D'Angkor where you will stay for the next 2 nights. The rest of the day is to be spent at leisure so settle into the hotel and check out the nearby area.
Day 3: La Residence D'Angkor, Siem Reap (BB)
Visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, before continuing to the Bayon Temple and exploring the archaeological delights of Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang.
Day 4: Thiripyitsaya Sanctuary Resort, Bagan (BB)
Fly to Yangon and onward to Bagan to stay for two nights at the Bagan Thiripyitsaya Sanctuary Resort, the rest of the day is to be spent at leisure.
Day 5: Thiripyitsaya Sanctuary Resort, Bagan (BB)
Begin a full day exploring the many sights of Bagan, starting with Tayoke Pyay, the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda and nearby Wetkyi-in Gubyaukgyi. Travel by horse cart for a tour to Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi and Sulamani temples.
Day 6: Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake (BB)
Fly to Heho and continue by road to Inle Lake to stay overnight at the Inle Princess Resort. Enjoy an excursion on the lake viewing the famous leg-rowing fishermen & visiting a number of temples.
Day 7: The Savoy Hotel, Yangon (BB)
Visit the floating gardens and a colourful local market before flying to Yangon. Visit Scott's Market and the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar, before staying overnight at the Savoy Hotel.
Day 8: Departure
Fly to Bangkok to connect with daytime flight to the UK.
