Day 1: UK Departure
Depart on your overnight flight to Bangkok from London.

Day 2: Bangkok arrival
On arrival in Bangkok, a representative will fast-track the immigration procedure. They will assist with the luggage and introduce the EXO travel guide. You will be transferred to the hotel by private limousine car. Upon arrival, take some time to relax and enjoy the setting of the beautiful hotel and spa.

The Peninsula Hotel (Grand Deluxe Room) is the perfect place for a romantic honeymoon experience. The riverside location, stylish décor and scenic views make for a perfect setting for newlywed couples.

After relaxing at the hotel, head out for a drive through Bangkok’s old quarters to see the Grand Palace, the Royal Grounds and Ratchadamnoen Avenue all lit up in a dramatic fashion. After sightseeing, go have dinner at Supanniga Restaurant. Enjoy a lavish Thai dinner and some cocktails against the stunning backdrop of the Rattanakosin skyline. It’s the perfect finish to an enchanting but laid-back first night in Thailand.

Day 3: Bangkok
Rise early in the morning and head to Wat Pho just in time to witness monks performing a morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 09:00). This uplifting experience is then followed by a visit to the temple grounds where the famous 45-metre-long reclining Buddha can be seen. Continue to The Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark, and be amazed by the majestic building and its throne halls. The next sight to see is the Emerald Buddha which the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.

A sumptuous Thai lunch awaits at Supatra River House.

In the afternoon, board a traditional private long-tail boat and cruise down the Chao Phraya River for a tour of Bangkok’s charming network of canals. For two hours, step back in time and experience a more traditional way of life, far removed from Bangkok’s modern, metropolitan vibe. Stop at one of Bangkok’s most prominent landmarks Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn.

After disembarking from the boat, hop in a car and head to Chinatown Square which is a great starting point for walking through one of the oldest parts of Bangkok. Walk along Yaowarat Road and visit shops selling strange and interesting items. Continue to a very old tea shop to enjoy a cup of Chinese tea before heading down to Trok Leng Moi Eia (a small alley). Feel free to explore a variety of fresh foods, fresh and dry fruits and Chinese herbs at Talad Kao (Old Market) before ending the walk at Wat Leng Nei Yee. Pay a quick visit to the Taoist temple before returning to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Bangkok
Start the day with insights into Buddhism by visiting Wat Saket where monks chant during their morning prayers. Receive blessings from a monk and offer alms in exchange. Make a short climb up to the temple’s Golden Mount and enjoy panoramic views of Rattanakosin Island while listening to the chimes of hundreds of temple bells.

Next, drive by the historical areas of Bangkok, passing through some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks and temples. Make a stop along the way to buy food and utility items for “Sangkatarn”, a special kind of offering for monks at Wat Ratchabophit. Wrap up the day’s trip with a visit to the Tiger God Shrine, one of the oldest Taoist temples in Bangkok where many Thai-Chinese go to worship. A lavish Thai lunch is exclusively served at the Jim Thompson Restaurant, an iconic dining destination in Bangkok. Afterwards, be sure to visit the Jim Thompson Museum and check out items at the souvenir shop.

In the afternoon, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day enjoying the hotel facilities or get pampered at the hotel’s spa.

Day 5: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
After breakfast, meet with the guide and transfer to the airport by limousine car for the flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, be greeted by a representative at the aircraft door or before entering the terminal area. They will assist with fast tracking immigration procedures and carrying the luggage. Once done, they’ll introduce the guide/driver who will facilitate the transfer via a private luxury vehicle.

In the afternoon, explore the ancient city of Chiang Mai, including its old city walls, gates, moat and markets. First, visit Wat Suan Dok where the ashes of Chiang Mai’s royal family are interred. Then go to the historic Wat Jed Yod and continue to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep which is a sacred temple in northern Thailand set high on a mountain on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. The local guide will explain the story of the temple and show its impressive chedi and beautiful murals.

In the late afternoon, get a chance to experience the magical view of Chiang Mai as the city lights begin to light up below. Receive an unforgettable private blessing ceremony and watch the evening chanting ceremony of the temple’s monks.

Afterwards, take part in a memorable Khantoke dinner which is a northern Thailand dinner accompanied by music and dance. The meal is served on a low, circular table called toke. Enjoy dining on delicious local specialties while watching a spectacular performance of northern Thai folk dancing.

Day 6: Chiang Mai
Early in the morning, depart from the hotel around 06:00 (Note: A takeaway breakfast box from the hotel will be provided) and ride a deluxe car for a trip to a special ceremony. Drop off at a beautiful northern Thai-style teak wood house surrounded by a nice, relaxing garden with old trees. The house is beautifully decorated in traditional Lanna style, adorned with scented flowers at every corner, keeping the authentic touch and feel of a Northern Lanna wedding ceremony.

A traditional “Lanna” style wedding is about to commence so get ready to be dressed in “Lanna” wedding attire. The morning wedding ceremony starts with a parade of the groom and supporters carrying trays of gifts and flowers. Receive ‘soul enlightenment’ (‘Kwan’ in Thai) for a blessed and happy married life. The head monk leading the private blessing ceremony will perform a tying of the string on the wrists that bind two people as one. End the ceremony by planting a love tree.

Return to the hotel after the ceremony where lunch is served. Enjoy a “khao soy” lunch (traditional curried noodle soup) which is a signature dish of northern Thailand. Each meal is served in specially designed ‘khao soy’ sets, consisting of 8 small ceramic condiment dishes, laid around a large ‘khao soy’ bowl and set on an artist’s palette.

In the afternoon, relax at the hotel and enjoy the hotel facilities.

Day 7: Chiang Mai
After breakfast at the hotel, hop in the 4x4 which will go to the Elephant Discovery Camp, located in a private natural area up on a hill.

Upon arrival at the camp, meet a mahout and be introduced to the elephants. Learn about their story and lifestyle, and get the chance to interact and play with them under the mahout’s supervision. Walk alongside these majestic creatures, bathe them, or simply watch them play in the mud pond. Learn how to communicate with the elephants and the steps involved in preparing their meals and desserts.

Lunch is served at the camp.

Day 8: Chiang Mai - Bangkok - Krabi - Lanta Island
After breakfast in the morning, a guide will facilitate the limousine transfer to the airport for a flight to Krabi, in the south of Thailand. From the airport, meet with the local guide and transfer first by car, then by speedboat to Pimalai Resort & Spa on Lanta Island.

This resort is perfect for a Thai honeymoon as it has everything a newlywed couple would want. Peace, tranquility and a flawless white-sand beach far enough from the rest of the island’s hotels. The resort covers 100 acres of lush tropical gardens with options of contemporary Thai-style rooms and new pool villas. Day 9 to 13: Lanta Island
The next few days are reserved for tranquility, relaxation and romance.

Laze the days away enjoying each other’s company. Head out to explore the island’s natural beauty, partake in a cooking class, go diving or join a yoga class. Plenty of activities are available here.

Day 14: Lanta Island - Krabi - Bangkok 
After breakfast, depart from Koh Lanta for the return flight to Bangkok. On arrival in Bangkok, meet with the guide and transfer to the hotel by limousine car.

The rest of the day is free at leisure. Explore Bangkok independently or take part in an optional tour. Also, take this opportunity to do some last-minute souvenir shopping.

Day 15: Bangkok departure
Relax at the hotel or head out for some last-minute shopping before receiving a limousine transfer to the airport for the return flight. Service includes assistance with check in and baggage handling.
