Day 1: UK Departure
Overnight flight to Singapore.
Day 2: Alila Manggis (BB)
Fly to Denpasar and travel to the easternmost district of Karangasem to stay for two nights at Alila Manggis.
Day 3: Alila Manggis (HB)
Enjoy a day of sightseeing to include the former Royal Courts of Justice, the Mother Temple of Besakih, Bali's holiest site at Mount Agung, and a leisurely two-hour trek through the rice fields to Tenganan, an ancient village belonging to the original Bali Aga people.
Day 4: Damai Lovina Villas (HB)
Visit Tirta Gangga, a sacred water palace, before continuing to Amed to enjoy a cruise on a traditional fishing boat. Stay overnight at the Damai Lovina Villas.
Day 5: Munduk Plantation Nature Resort & Spa (HB)
Optional trek through the picturesque plantations to Semkumpul Waterfall before a spectacular drive through the central highlands, with panoramic views of the Buyan and Tamblingan crater lakes, to Munduk. Stay overnight at the Munduk Plantation Nature Resort & Spa.
Day 6: Puri Taman Sari (HB)
Begin the morning with a light trek through Munduk's lush plantation surroundings to the cascading Red Coral Waterfall. Continue on a scenic drive to Umabian and stay overnight at Puri Taman Sari.
Day 7: Maya Ubud Resort & Spa (HB)
A unique opportunity today to experience Balinese farming life at Taman Sari Buwana; to tour the elementary school, work alongside the farmers to learn various rice-planting techniques and observe the daily village activities. Proceed via the serene Taman Ayun temple to Ubud to stay for two nights at Maya Ubud Resort & Spa. Enjoy an evening traditional dance performance.
Day 8: Maya Ubud Resort & Spa (HB)
Visit the ARMA Museum and the 16th-century Royal Palace, home to the Ubud royal family, before finishing at the Ubud Market. In the afternoon be pampered with a Balinese massage treatment at a local spa.
Day 9: Departure
Drive to Mount Batur, visiting an exotic spring temple, before continuing to Panglipuran, a traditional village. Fly from Denpasar to Singapore and connect with overnight flight to the UK, arriving the following morning.
