Day 1: Depart UK
Depart London Heathrow on an overnight flight to Delhi

Day 2: Delhi
Transfer by private vehicle to the hotel for a two-night stay. The afternoon is at leisure.

Overnight: Maidens Hotel

Day 3: Delhi
Embark on a full day tour of Delhi, with highlights being India Gate, Qutub Minar and Humayun's tomb. Also enjoy a rickshaw ride through the markets of old Delhi before visiting Raj Ghat and Ghandi Smriti.

Day 4: Amritsar
Travel to Delhi airport and fly to Amritsar.

Transfer by private vehicle to the hotel for a two-night stay.

Enjoy a traditional Palki ceremony at the Golden Temple.

Day 5: Amritsar
Embark on a half day tour of the sights of Amritsar. See the Golden Temple once more, as well as the Volunteer Kitchens and Jallianwala Bagh, the harrowing scene of the 1919 massacre. Early in the evening proceed to the Wagah Border Point for the elaborate and memorable ‘Changing of the Guard’ ceremony.

Day 6: Dharamshala
Travel by private vehicle to Dharamshala for a two-night stay.

At the heart of the Tibetan culture, Dharamshala, also known as 'Little Lhasa' is beautifully set on the Dhaula Dhar Range, overlooking the Kangra Valley. This is where the Dalai Lama made his home after fleeing Tibet in 1959.

Day 7: Dharamshala

Today enjoy sightseeing in the area, visiting McLeod Ganj, the Tibetan Monastery, Tibetan Museum & Norbulinka Tibetan Art Centre. There is also the opportunity to experience the Naddi Village Walk.

Day 8: Pragpur
Travel by private vehicle to Pragpur for a two-night stay.

Spend the afternoon exploring the heritage village of Pragpur.

Overnight: Judges Court

Day 9: Pragpur
Enjoy the day in Pragpur. Founded three centuries ago, the village has held onto the essence of an earlier era, with unchanged shops, cobbled streets, ornamental village tank, mud plastered and slate roofed houses.

Day 10: Shimla
Travel by private vehicle to Shimla for a three-night stay.

En-route make a stop at Garli village, a notified heritage village with a medieval ambience and interesting heritage buildings.

Overnight: The Oberoi Cecil

Day 11: Shimla
This morning enjoy a scenic ride on the toy train to visit the nearby village of Kandaghat.

Return to Shimla and visit the beautiful Vice Regal Lodge, the place where the division of India and Pakistan was planned.

After lunch, enjoy a leisurely stroll back along the Mall to Scandal Point, en-route viewing the Gaiety Theatre and Christ Church.

Today is a free day to explore extraordinary Shimla, or to enjoy the luxurious facilities of the hotel.

Day 13: Delhi
Transfer by private vehicle to Chandigarh to board the afternoon express train to Delhi.

Transfer by private vehicle to the hotel for overnight stay.
