How to get there

To reach Golden Teak Home first fly from the UK to Bangkok, a journey of approximately 11 hours, next make the 1 hour 10 minute flight to Chiang Mai before transferring by road around half an hour to reach the property.

Best time to go

The best time to visit Thailand is between November and April as this avoids the monsoon season that falls between May and October.

You will find authentic Thai cooking offered here and are invited to learn the art of Thai cooking with hands on lessons offered in the open-air kitchen.

Ayuthaya Room – This spacious ensuite room is bright and airy and enjoys a private entrance. It can sleep up to 3 in a double and single bed, making it ideal for small families.

Ava and Amarapura Rooms – These rooms are built on a second story teak platform and enjoy beautiful views of the garden and patio. Separately can comfortably sleep 2 with space for an additional third, the rooms together would be ideal for larger families and groups.

Chiang Mai Room – The most spacious room on offer, the Chiang Mai room can sleep 2 adults and 1 to 2 children in a second elevated bed. The room has its own stairway as well as a private mezzanine between the garden and room entrance.

Chang and Eng Rooms – These two rooms sit on an elevated platform and each sleep 2 or can be connected to sleep a family or group of 4. The rooms come with spacious balconies that offer sweeping views of the gardens.
