The hotel is about 21km from the airport, covered in about 30 minutes in a car. Beijing International Airport serves both international and domestic flights.

Best time to go

Generally speaking, the best months to visit China are in the spring or autumn months of April, May, September and October as temperatures are warm and it is fairly dry.

During the warmer months, those rooms that offer a private balcony are an excellent choice as the outside area is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. Studios on the higher floors also offer increased quietude, and better views out over the city.

Sureño

At this Mediterranean-inspired venue, fine food and vibrant surroundings are the order of the day. Here, the authenticity of the restaurant’s traditional wood-fired oven is complimented by an impressive wine list, and gourmet meals are prepared using only the freshest ingredients from around the world.

Mesh

Perfect both for relaxing and socialising, this contemporary city bar offers an eclectic menu, as well as an extensive wine list and a range of highly original cocktails. The venue’s relaxed vibe is reflected in its chilled music and soft lighting, making it the ideal place to unwind after a busy day exploring the city.

Village Cafe

This spacious restaurant offers all-day dining in an attractive, naturally-lit setting. Here, the menu features international favourites delivered with an excitingly modern twist, whilst the ambience is both convivial and informal.

Jing Yaa Tang

Only recently opened, Jing Yaa Tang focuses on favourite Chinese dishes from around the country. The restaurant’s specialty is Beijing’s traditional roast duck, simply prepared and expertly executed using only the very best locally-sourced ingredients. 

The Opposite House offers 98 studio bedrooms and a stunning penthouse on two floors. Striking open designs, high ceilings and plentiful natural light are common features of all rooms, whilst underfloor heating provides added warmth and comfort during the winter months. All of The Opposite House studios incorporate spa-inspired bathrooms complete with a rain shower and deep-soaking oak bathtub; whilst other amenities include Egyptian cotton bed linen, exclusive Ba Yan Ka La toiletries, an LCD television, a complimentary mini-bar and wifi, and atmospheric mood lighting.

Studio 45

Covering 45 square metres of space, these beautiful rooms include a living area complete with a sofa and writing desk in addition to the amenities shared by all studios at The Opposite House.

Studio 70

Incorporating 70 square metres of space, these decadent rooms offer the added drama of floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a daybed on which to relax in absolute comfort and privacy.

Studio 95

All of these studios feature 95 square metres of living space, as well as a private dining area and a Nespresso coffee machine. Two of them also include their own private balcony, overlooking spectacular views of the surrounding city.

Studio 115

The largest of all the studios, these two rooms boast ample living and sleeping spaces, as well as a private dining area for four. One of these suites includes a private balcony and daybed; whilst the other features its own private jacuzzi.

Penthouse

Spread over two floors, the penthouse incorporates almost 200 square metres of space in addition to its own private roof terrace. The indoor and outdoor areas are connected by a shallow reflecting pool, whilst the wood-and-bamboo decor lends the penthouse a wonderful sense of serenity. The penthouse also features its own kitchen facilities.
