Formerly the guesthouse of King Sihanouk, Amansara was once the playground of dignitaries and celebrities. In its latest incarnation as a boutique hotel, the erstwhile royal retreat is still the favoured haunt of discerning travellers, offering its guests the ambience of a luxurious private home. Surrounded by a beautiful garden compound, Amansara is an oasis amidst the bustling streets of Siem Reap, whose defining features include first-class service, admirable attention-to-detail and a range of exemplary amenities. Here, more than a thousand temples remain as a relic of the long-ago Khmer Empire- allowing Amansara to boast the existence of an archaeological wonder right on its very doorstep.
