Best time to go

The best time to visit Bhutan is from October to May as the climate is mostly dry and sunny. In December and January, snow may block some mountain passes causing restricted travel.

  Dining

Bukhari - The restaurant serves modern, light cuisine from local organic produce. The chef offers a choice of Bhutanese or Indian set dinners as well as Western choices and more complex `a la carte options.

Forest View Room - These 25 square metre double rooms overlook the pine forests that surround the resort and include a nice bathroom with a combined shower and bathtub.

Valley View Room - These larger rooms also have a bathtub and separate shower stall and 32 square metres of living area.

COMO Suites - These oversized suites have separate dining, sitting and study areas as well as a kitchenette. Views from the king-size bed open up to 180-degree spreads of the Paro Valley. This suite has 95 square metres of living area.

One Bedroom Villa - These oversized, freestanding villas have a large living area complete with a Bhutanese Bukhari wood burning stove, kitchen with its own staff entrance, and a private room for spa treatments. This villa has 92 square metres of living area.

Two Bedroom COMO Villa - These oversized villas feature a large living area that opens up to panoramic views of the Paro Valley as well as an al fresco hot stone bathtub and an open-air courtyard with a fire pit. Indoors there is a spa treatment room, a full kitchen, a dining area that seats up to eight, and numerous one-off design details and antiques that instil this villa with a strong sense of Bhutanese culture. This villa has 300 square metres of living area.
