Highlights

  • We recommend the early morning Nature walk on the bunds of the two reservoirs that border the property. Guests will be given a custom made guide bird guide book with over 90 species of birds that they might be able to spot during the walk.
  • For Honeymooners Villa no 7 would be the best as it has a tree top deck for private dining.
  • Cycle around the ancient city of Anuradhapura and visit an old monastery on Ritigala Mountain
  • Views of the beautiful natural scenery from the villas

Location

Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka

Best time to go

Anuradhapura weather is diverse enough to enjoy all year round for a variety of activities. April and September are the high season, when the weather becomes dry and sunny. October to March is considered the wet season but can also be a lovely time to visit.

Our thoughts

The eco friendly focus of the hotel welcomes guests and one immediately feels wrapped in nature. The focus is on privacy and conservation giving you a perfect hideaway and the private deck and plunge pool further offer a secluded environment. The spa, walks and nature based excursions are delightful - we recommend a morning walk along the reservoir to get the best bird viewing opportunities in!
