Vietnam Visa Exemption for Visitors Extended

It's great news if you are planning or were dreaming about a trip to Vietnam. In a bid to boost their tourism, the earlier visa waiver policy for travellers from United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain has been extended. If you plan to travel to Vietnam to stay for 15 days or less you will have visa-free access from 1st July 2017 - 30th June 2018. 

Apart from these five Vietnam has implemented unilateral visa exemption for Japan, South Korea, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Belarus (for a stay up to 15 days) and bilateral exemption for 9 ASEAN countries (for a stay up to 30 days).

However, if you want to stay longer or re-enter Vietnam after visiting a nearby country, then a visa is required.
