Jetwing Properties Among Sri Lanka's Top 25 Hotels

As part of their recent 2015 Traveler's Choice Awards, Trip Advisor have announced that three of the Jetwing properties are among the top 25 hotels in Sri Lanka, 2 of them coming in the top 10.

The Jetwing properties are known for their luxury and superb hospitality, so it is hardly surprising to see that three of them ranked so highly with voters. Taking 2nd place is Jetwing Vil Uyana, Sri Lanka's first ever eco-resort. The 24 acre property is set upon a man-made wetland which features two lakes and individual accommodation set in different areas. Around the property you can expect to find a wide variety of flora and fauna, as well as many different kinds of animals, birds, butterflies and more that make this resort a nature lover's dream.

In 7th place comes Jetwing Yala, a luxurious resort located in the south of Sri Lanka, surrounded by nature. Fringed by forests on the sides, and with stunning views of the sandy shores and the Indian Ocean to the front, this is the place to come for a remote escape from everyday life. With access to the pristine beachfront, complete with beach bar and trained lifeguards, Jetwing Yala is a little slice of paradise amongst the wilderness. Like Jetwing Vil Uyana, this property also strives to be sustainable, featuring a vast solar park which generates 40% of the hotel's daily electricity demand.

Taking the 13th spot is Jetwing Lagoon, a resort that transformed Sri Lanka's first ever resort Blue Lagoon, while still maintaining the vision of its designer Geoffrey Bawa. The resort features the longest pool in the area, offers up views of the Negombo lagoon, has beach access opposite the hotel, and even features its own Ayurveda and wellness spa.
