Frances Geoghegan

With over 35 years experience in the industry, Frances is a highly respected travel professional who has retained her zest for exploring the world and expanding her knowledge. Spa & wellness travel are a particular passion, with Asia her first love, and Myanmar her long-time favourite destination. Her travels have taken her around the world numerous times, from the Mayan ruins of Guatemala and plains of the Serengeti, to the temples of India and the deserts of Chile, but she still hopes to tick off Uzbekistan & New Zealand from her list of places to see.

Frances Geoghegan's travel tip

If you travel regularly, enrol in an airline’s frequent flyer programme. You will be surprised how quickly points can add up, and being a member will afford you greater priority for upgrades - it is also nice to begin any trip with a visit to a relaxing airport lounge.

Joanne Woolley

Joanne Woolley is a veteran in the travel industry and a seasoned traveller herself.  She loves Shanghai for the food, and Hanoi is her favourite city for romance with its tree-lined boulevards and picturesque lake. With a speciality for family travel, Cambodia is the next destination on her travel horizon - particularly Angkor Wat and Song Saa Island.

Joanne Woolley's travel tip

Take a photo of your passport and all of your flight and hotel booking references on your phone – this will save you hours of rummaging around in the bottom of your bag, and will be invaluable if your passport goes walkabout.

Klaudia Orr

Klaudia is a travel industry veteran of almost 20 years, and possesses an extreme passion for travel and a wealth of first-hand experience. Of all the destinations she has visited, she finds it hard to pick a favourite, but the incredible scenic beauty of New Zealand wowed her more than anywhere, and so secures her top spot. There are many more places on Klaudia's travel bucket-list, with her sights set on exploring the magic of South Africa and the thrill of a safari.

Klaudia Orr's travel tip

If you are travelling on an Airbus A380, try to pre-book your economy seats on the upper deck. The seat configuration upstairs is 2-4-2, (compared to 3-4-3 on the lower deck), which means there's more space and more comfort.

Chris Wain

Chris Wain has been working in the travel industry for well over 30 years now and has travelled far and wide during this time. Having now visited over 130 countries, there are few corners left in the world that he is yet to venture. Africa keeps drawing him back time after time and will always hold a special place in his heart, however Asia comes a very close second. Next up on his wish list are Saudi Arabia and Fiji.

Chris Wain's travel tip

Try not to keep putting things off – if you have the time (and the funds), just get it booked, and get out there. As someone, somewhere once said ‘the world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page’.
