Chedi Club Ubud

Summary

Over the years, Ubud has earned itself a reputation as Bali’s cultural heart, thanks to the plethora of Hindu temples and artisan workshops that line its quaint streets. Nestled amidst impossibly green rice paddies and set against the dramatic backdrop of Bali’s foothills, the town has consequently become a mecca for all those seeking romance, artistry, and an authentic insight into Bali’s fascinating culture. The Chedi Club Ubud offers all those things in abundance, from the romance of the breathtaking views afforded by its out-of-town location, to its culturally-inspired decor and cuisine. The hotel was founded by Hendra Hadiprana, one of Indonesia’s most respected art collectors; and the artworks and antiques that adorn each of the hotel’s twenty luxurious villas are part of his extensive private collection.

Best time to go

The best time to visit Ubud is during Bali’s dry season, which lasts from June until September. Thanks to its elevated location, Ubud is typically several degrees cooler than the island’s lowlands and temperatures are consequently pleasant here throughout the year.
