Ananda in the Himalayas
Ananda in the Himalayas is the first destination spa to open in the foothills of the Himalayas. A short drive from the pilgrim town of Rishikesh it is located in the grounds of the summer palace of the Maharajah of Tehri-Gahrwal and it is in this building that the hotel’s main reception area is housed. Both the rooms and the spa are a short walk away, housed in three modern buildings – most rooms have balconies with great views down to Rishikesh and the Ganges valley. There is a fully equipped gym and an outdoor swimming pool.
