How to get there

First fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok a journey of around 11 hours on a direct flight, before flying to Chiang Mai a journey of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival transfer by road to your hotel taking roughly 40 minutes.

Best time to go

The dry season is mid October to February, when temperatures are mild and rain is scarce.

The hot season from March until mid June when the farmers do the agricultural fires on the farmland and visibility can be hazy.

The monsoon season runs from mid June to mid October

Sala Mae Rim - Offering the unique flavours of northern Thailand, this restaurant is renowned for is excellent Thai Cuisine. Whilst dining here enjoy the views of the Mae Rim Valley and the Thai artifacts surrounding you. The restaurant is open breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Terraces - Located next to the resort's main swimming pool, the restaurant offers a lovely open-air setting with views of the rice paddies and mountains beyond. Terraces features international cuisine using the region's natural produce. Also features a children's menu.

In-Pavilion Dining - An extensive 24-hour fine dining menu is available from the comfort of your pavilion, villa or residence suite. The menu is extensive.

Chef's Table - A unique way to learn more about Thailand's cuisine, you can join the cooking schools intimate Chef's Table. One of the chefs will demonstrate and explain culinary techniques and methods, you will enjoy 12 different Thai dishes to share, family style with up to 12 guests. Children over 4 are welcome.

Private Reserve at the Rice Barn - A private dining venue that can be exclusively reserved for just two people. The Rice Barn is the perfect setting to celebrate a special occasion. Enjoy a five course meal under the moonlight overlooking the rice paddies and lake. The dinner menu - offering a choice of Thai, Western or vegetarian dishes - is prepared for you after a consultation with the resort's executive chef.

With grand interiors and a covered outdoor veranda, your Pavilion blends the best of traditional Thai design with stunning natural beauty.

Pavilions - The Pavilions are housed in two storey clusters of four, each offering a slightly different view. The Pavilions offer a luxurious living space, with high vaulted ceiling and private outdoor Thai sala. The 70 square metre Pavilions are decorated in a traditional northern Thai style. A rollaway bed can be put in the room for children.

Four Pavilion room types:

Pool Villas - With views of the Suthep Mountains, the wonderfully spacious and luxurious Pool Villas offer maximum privacy. The villas offer 77 square metres of indoor space and 282 square metres of outdoor space and a 24 square metre private pool. The outdoor area also features a private garden, dining pavilion and a sundeck.

Private Residences - The Private Residences offer comfort and privacy, the Residences are located in three and four storey buildings, designed in Thai Burmese temple architecture.The Residences vary in size and the Four Bedroom Villa can sleep up to 8 adults. Most of the Residences have pools and tropical gardens.
