Casa Colombo

Summary

Housed within the walls of a two-hundred-year-old Moorish mansion, Casa Colombo perfectly reflects the cultural eclecticism of the capital for which it is named. Inside, the hotel pays tribute to the retro-chic styling of Sri Lankan designer Lalin Jinanesa, the man responsible not only for founding Casa Colombo but also for designing every last aspect in such a way as to make this hotel utterly unique. From its twelve individual rooms to its incredible Pink Pool, Casa Colombo offers an accommodation experience that goes far beyond simply providing a place to rest one’s head. This hotel is exceptional for more than its remarkable aesthetics, however. It also offers a first-class location within Colombo’s ritzy business district and unparalleled service provided by Casa Domo butlers personally assigned to cater to each guest’s every need.

Best time to go

The weather in Colombo is consistently hot and humid. The city experiences two monsoon seasons- from May to August and from October to January. The best time to visit Colombo is between December and March, as these months are traditionally the driest of the year.

Our thoughts

Thanks to its unique location, Casa Colombo appeals to a wide variety of guests. On the one hand, its proximity to the central business district makes it convenient for corporate travellers. On the other, it is within easy reach of Colombo’s trendiest restaurants, night clubs and designer stores, making it ideal for all those looking to enjoy the modern pleasures of Sri Lanka’s capital.

T-Republic
