Best time to go

Japan is a year round destination, however the best time to visit Kyoto is arguably in the Autumn when you can see the leaves on the tress turn a brilliant red and the temperatures are still rather mild.

The hotel offers 4 restaurants, as well as a pastry shop, lounge, and bar.

The Grill – The Grill serves seasonal authentic grill cuisine, created in an open kitchen featuring a wood-burning oven. The restaurant also features an adjoining decked terrace which offers views over the Japanese garden.

Trattoria Sette – This restaurant has a casual style and serves authentic Italian dishes and pizzas served straight from a show kitchen.

Touzan – This Japanese restaurant is particular about creating flavourful and authentic char-grilled dishes, and uses ingredients sourced locally in Kyoto and across Japan. The restaurant also features a sushi bar where guests can enjoy the Edomae Sushi Course.

The Muses – This café restaurant is found within the newly opened Heisei Chishinkan of the Kyoto National Museum and offers light meals and course meals prepared by the hotel’s chefs.  

Touzan Bar – This eclectically decorated bar has a cosy feel and offers high-quality whiskeys and various cocktails to local Kyoto beers, house sake and more than 30 different kinds of premium sakes including local Kyoto brands.

Grill Lounge & Terrace – The Grill Lounge and Terrace is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a light snack and refreshing beverage.

Deluxe Balcony – Available in twin and king size, these rooms feature a bed/beds, a luxurious bathroom and living and work area. Sliding doors lead out onto a balcony which overlooks the Kyoto National Museum or Japanese Garden.

Regency Executive Suite- Available with twin beds or a king size bed, the Regency Executive Suite features traditional Japanese interiors, garden views, Tatami sitting areas and luxurious bathrooms. They come with a range of deluxe amenities such as an espresso maker and luxury bath products.

Regency Suite – This large L-shaped suite comes with twin beds, Japanese décor, two bedrooms, a work area, living area, two bathrooms and a large wrap around balcony. The suite also features luxurious amenities to make guests’ stays even more enjoyable.
