| Holiday went extremely well |

| Just wanted to thank you for putting together our holiday to Florida and Virginia. Everything went extremely well - flights, car and hotels. Ritz Carlton in Sarasota was fantastic! Marriott Residence Inn in Charlottesville was also good. Thanks again for putting this trip together.

| Pangkor Laut was a revelation – The sea itself was as clear as a spotless aquarium, with every shade of luminous green that you can imagine represented, from soft jade to sparkling emerald, to the dark blue-green of Scots Pines. Each estate has it’s own little beach, two exquisitely tasteful bedroom suites, both with a private outdoor spa bath. There was a circular pergola with sofas and music, where we sunset gazed and fought bitter Scrabble battles. We had separate air-conditioned dining villa and Fuad, our personal chef. I found it close to heaven |

| Natural Paradise |

| The Evason Hideaway at Ana Mandara is only accessible via the hotel’s speedboat, which adds to the sense of escape. The excitement grew as we buzzed ever closer to our destination. Alexis hugged me excitedly as the beauty of the resort revealed itself on the horizon: a white sandy beach, towering mountains and dramatic rock formations. Staff, immaculately dressed in pressed white uniforms, welcomed us ashore and our butler for the stay, Son, asked us to follow her by bike to our beach villa.
After dinner, we collapsed on the sane and stared up at a blaze of night sky. It looked like the roof of God’s cathedral; I have never seen so many stars. If the philosophy of Evason Hideaway is to create a natural paradise, they have succeeded |

| Terracotta Warriors |

| I know we have all heard about the Terracotta warriors and some of us have even seen them in the exhibitions in London but nothing quire prepares you for the sheer scale of the excavations - Magnificent is the word. I was so astonished that I had to have one of my own, so I immediately set off for the warrior copying shop and shipped back a half size general who guards my hallway. China has that sort of effect on you. You want to keep a piece of it. |
